this is a headshot drawing of my guy named Claude.

i got him on deviantart a while ago nwn

his design really catched my eye and his story my attention.

" A retired swordsman, now he plays for the strings section of the orchestra,it is said he covered his wounds in wax then laced them together with the strings of people's hearts."

and then i, by luck won him ^W^
i was so happy when i did!

since then, he was drawn together with Alexander, i think Claude helped Alexander to be a better violinist/fiddler than he allready was.
now, since i needed one for my own personal orchestra, Claude is learning to play the piano ^^
he learns quite quick, even if he is very talkative.

this guy has already over 20 pages of doodles on my (now almost finished) sketchbook -w-

and i can't stop loving him ^^

the only changes i did to him, was the lenght and shape of the bow in the back of his head :3 <3

a while ago i didnt do a nice attempt at a headshot, the last one , victim of my coloring experiments was Alexander (you can check him on my gallerys).

however, since this new painting technique seems to be nicer (however much more time consuming) i am motivated to make headshots of my favourite guys given to me so far nwn

please tell me what you think of this artwork and new painting, that would help me improve if you maybe point some things you liked more, or even some you liked less of this one, just please dont be rude if you dont like something/this ^^'

i am also trying to find a new comfortable way to draw anathomy and faces, maybe even hair, i just need a good anathomy tutorial for now ^^
